Summit Technology Academy

We had a great time working with Summit Technology Academy (STA) in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, to create a video that shows how they prepare students for college and careers. This project was extra special for us because our co-owner is actually an STA alum, graduating from the Digital Media Class in 2010!

For the video, we wanted to bring STA’s unique approach to life. They focus on creating a professional environment where students can train for real-world jobs. To capture that, we filmed three students in what seemed like real scenarios: a nurse at work, a cybersecurity officer handling a breach, and a pilot preparing for takeoff. At the end, we revealed that these were all training simulations and showed the students transitioning to actual jobs at places like Centerpoint Hospital, Oracle Cerner Innovation Campus, and Lee's Summit Airport.

This project was the perfect way to showcase STA’s mission and our passion for video production. By combining storytelling and cinematic videography, we highlighted how STA bridges the gap between the classroom and the workforce.
