Behind the Lens: Crafting an Explainer Video for Vyaire's SuperNO₂VA Device

At Index, we focus on clear, impactful storytelling. Our recent collaboration with Vyaire on an explainer video for their SuperNO₂VA medical device was an opportunity to combine technical precision with creative production. Here’s how the project came together.

The goal was to explain how the SuperNO₂VA device works in a way that connected with anesthesiologists and a broader audience. To do this, we traveled to New York City during a major conference for anesthesiologists. We set up an interview space in a hotel suite near Times Square, where we spoke with anesthesiologists about their experiences and insights. Their input added depth and credibility to the project. To complement the interviews, we created animations that demonstrated how the SuperNO₂VA functions. These visuals helped explain complex features in a simple, straightforward way, ensuring the audience could easily understand the device’s value.

Producing a video in the middle of New York City required careful planning. From tight schedules to filming in a conference setting, the team worked through each challenge to capture high-quality footage and interviews. By combining real-world perspectives with clear animations, the video successfully highlighted the benefits of the SuperNO₂VA. Projects like this remind us of the power of video to connect ideas with audiences in meaningful ways.
